Resolution Reminders
Half the fun of making New Year's resolutions is seeing how close
you came to keeping them the year before. Here's a simple trick for
keeping track of those all-important plans.
Close
to the arrival hour of the New Year, gather all your family members
and have them pen their resolutions in a notebook. Tuck the book into
your box of X'mas
decorations and pack it away.
When the box comes out
of storage the next year, pluck out the book and put it aside until
New Year's Eve, when the contents are shared out loud among your
family.
Give each of yourselves
a pat if a resolution was fulfilled, and if not, try again the next
year.
This serves as a good way to enforce your resolutions, while giving
your kids and family something to look forward to every year.
